Motivational Monday

Welcome back Disney fans to the start of another week. I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, even if it was a little bit too short. One of the highlights of my weekend was seeing the film “Cinderella” in theaters! I was truly memorized by the magic of this film, and the message that was portrayed. I like to think of myself as a nice person, and I found this story of Cinderella’s courage and kindness inspiring, and also rewarding. This week’s Motivational Monday was taken from the film, and proves that good overrules evil.

Where there is kindness, there is goodness. Where there is goodness, there is magic.

This quote, along with “have courage and be kind,” was spoken to little Ella by her late mother. Ella, soon changed to Cinderella, always reminded herself of these words, and tried to live by them. There is almost a ripple effect of being kind. As said in this quote, where there is kindness, there is goodness. It is not always easy to be kind in the face of evil, in Cinderella’s case an evil stepmother. However, being kind in those type of situations shows a goodness that comes from deep inside. Where there is goodness, there is magic. This is proven true to Cinderella with the help of her fairy godmother. Magic can come in all shapes and forms; it does not necessarily mean that you will be turning pumpkins into extravagant carriages. Magical things can happen every day, but only if you are deserving of them. It always pays off to be kind and good, just like it did for Cinderella in the end (I mean, she became a princess and queen, what more could a girl ask for?)

Thanks for the post! It’s nice to have some inspiration and food for thought early in the week! Though it is night time here in Asia already by the time you posted this. Still wonderful to read this quote though. Were there is goodness, there is magic. I actually still believe in this sort of thing!
